For Primary Headteachers, English Subject Leaders, Nursery Teachers, Reception Teachers and KS1 Teachers.
What the training will cover
This training will provide a coherent system for teaching writing through Talk for Writing in EY and KS1.
Packed with practical ideas, the course will be focussed on strategies for developing young children as storytellers and writers, looking at how to help children learn a bank of stories through story mapping, using actions and deepening understanding through play.
Using examples and film clips of shared and guided writing, the course will also consider how to help children create their own imaginative stories.
